Jack “Bloss” Hacker, 74, of London, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1940 to the late Pearl and Emma Swafford Hacker in Yancy, Ky. On August 4, 1966, he married Annie Melissa Ross in Williamstown, Ky. Jack loved trucking, spending time with his trucking buddies, going to have a cup of hot chocolate at Martin’s, spending time at Hardees with his brothers and trucking buddies, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Along with his loving wife, Annie Ross Hacker, he leaves behind four daughters and three sons-in-law, Tonya and Dewayne Reeder, Melissa Hacker, Tiffany and Raleigh Bowling, Brittany and Logan Jones, all of London; one grandchild, Kennedy Leann Lamb; four grand-dogs, Cash, Bullet, Kate and Shooter; three brothers, Ralph and Geneva Hacker of London, JD and Mary Hacker of Bear Branch, Chris and the late Barbara Hacker of London; four sisters, Rosetta and the late Carl Napier of London, Irene and Jennings Deaton of Manchester, Ethel and Roger Hibbard of Manchester and Geneva Jones of London. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends to mourn his passing. Jack was a loving husband, father, papaw and friend to all.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his father and mother-in-law, Banford and Bertie Ross of Middletown, Ohio; a brother, Cecil Hacker and two sisters, Hazel Sizemore and Mary Grubbs.

Funeral service for Jack “Bloss” Hacker will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Ball and Pastor Jonathan Sizemore officiating.
Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park of London.
