According to a friend visiting his grave, Frank loved to whittle (or carve wood) and could usually be found, knife in hand, doing just that. He loved to whittle cedar so the friend carved this special headstone from cedar. Under the name plate is an indention that holds his sealed old whittling knife.

Obituary information received as follows on March 9, 2013:

Frank Biscamp, 88, of Kirbyville died Thursday at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church wit burial in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Kirbyville Memorial Funeral Home.

A native of Bleakwood, he lived in the Kirbyville area all his life.

Survivors include a daughter, Beirce Posey of Pasadena; brother, Carl Biscamp of Kirbyville and Earl Biscamp of Vidor; a sister, Anna McKeithen of Buna and a grandchild.
