EUGENE , Jan. 31 (Special) – Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Carrie Stone, 98, resident of Eugene for the past five years, who died Sunday at her home, 641 Pearl street will be held Wednesday, 10 A.M., at the Veatch chapel. Interment will be in the Riverview cemetery, Portland.

Mrs. Stone was born in Elgin, Ill., and lived in Des Moines for several years before coming to Oregon in 1887. She was a member of the Congregational church in Iowa.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. M. M. Ruckey of Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. A. A. Lynch, Los Angeles; a son, George G. Stone of Eugene.
