On September 9th, 1950, Maxine was united in marriage to Ottis Walker who preceded her in death in Aug. of 2008. To this union, a son, Jerry"Butch" Walker was born.
Maxine is survived by her son Jerry and wife Pattie Walker of Ironton, MO, four brothers; Jack Goggin of Lesterville, MO, Charles Goggin of Troy, MO, Bill Goggin of Pacific, MO, Jim Goggin and wife Belinda of Cape Girardeau, MO; and two sisters, Jessie Chitwood of St. Louis, MO and Betty Turnbough of Fredericktown, MO.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Summer Dawn Walker and a brother Clifford Goggin.
Maxine was a 1947 graduate of Lesterville High School, worked as a supervisor for 25 years at Brown Shoe Company in Ironton, and attended the Fellowship Baptist Church of Lesterville.
