Jonell Addy South, 82, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, in Plainview.
Family memorial inurnment will be Saturday in Spur Cemetery. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Jonell was born Dec. 13, 1931, in Spur to Cecil and Nellie Addy. She was an avid antiques collector and owned her own business for many years. The last 18 years of her life were spent in Amarillo, where she was a member of First Christian Church. Jonell was a loving mother and Me-Maw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd South; a brother, Billy Addy; and a grandson, John Collins.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Wilkins and husband Jim of Amarillo; a son, Steve Jenkins of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Kandy Hudgens, Renea Bower, Jenifer Jenkins, Ashley Jenkins, Destiny Wilkins, Trey Wilkins and Joshua Bower; and 10 great-grandchildren.
