Adelina "Nina" Nieto, 80, passed away Monday, March 6, 2000. Mrs. Nieto was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Nieto Jr., and by her son, Roy O. Nieto. She is survived by her sons, daughter, eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Estela Sandoval of Laredo; brother, Ramiro (Julia) Ortiz of Laredo; also, nieces and nephews that will greatly miss her. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2000 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Nieto Dickey and Lopez Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin Thursday, March 9, 2000 at 8:45 a.m. from Nieto Dickey and Lopez Funeral Home to San Jose Church. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Interment will follow to the Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nieto Dickey and Lopez Funeral Directors, 802 Coke St.
