LeeAnn Holm Shaw, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 31, 2015, at her parents’ home in Roberts, Idaho, of liver failure. She was under the care of her family and Encompass Home Health & Hospice.

LeeAnn was born July 28, 1951, in Roberts, Idaho, to DelRay Holm and Sherlie Drake Holm. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. She earned her bachelor and master’s degrees from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

On December 7, 1991, she married Gordon Dennis Shaw in Roberts, Idaho. LeeAnn worked as a Child Protection Worker in Adoption and Foster Care Placement for State of Idaho. She was very good at her job and worked there from 1981 until she retired in 2010.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed photography and traveling, and especially loved history and visiting historical sites.

brother, Jim (Liz) Holm of Ammon, ID,
sister, Jennifer (Byron) Wood of Roberts, ID.
two grandchildren and one great grandchild
She was preceded in death by two sons, Dannie Clark and Eddie Diamond.


Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at the Roberts LDS Chapel, 663 North 2858 East, with Byron Wood officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
