Franklin H. Romig, 86, formerly of Bethlehem, died Friday in Gracedale, Nazareth R.1. He was the husband of the late Thelma M. (Werst) Romig.

He was a laborer for area construction companies for many years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Henry W. and Annie (Baldi) Romig.

He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Brother, Harold of Allentown; sisters, Beatrice George of Bath, Lucy, wife of Allen Roberts, and Helen, wife of Louis Horvath, both of Allentown, and May, wife of Donald McHugh of Emmaus, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, William.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Snyder-Hinkle-Spatig Funeral Home, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
