Ms. Baker worked as an inspector for Claybourne Manufacturing and was a member of Timpson Presbyterian Church.
She loved gardening, quilting and crocheting. She enjoyed making prayer shawls for the church. She liked to take care of everyone and was from the old school, that if you came to visit, you had to eat.
She is survived by one sister, Florence Dickerson of Clayton and two nieces, Carol Cragg and Robin Phillips and one nephew, Billy Dickerson.
