Mrs. Barbara Coggins Moore, 78, a resident of New London passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015.

She was born in Davidson County on December 14, 1936, a daughter of the late Buren Earl Coggins and Katie Evans Coggins.

Barbara was the owner and operator of Instant Copies and Law Enforcement Press in Thomasville for most of her life. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of High Point Shrine and the Badin Lake Association of Sisters Together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Moore, Sr. in 1986. Barbara was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will fondly be remembered.

Surviving are daughters; Terri Moore (Mark Kearns) and Jerri Murphy (Scott), sons; Bobby Moore, Jr. (Joanie) and Eric Moore (Annette), brothers; Garland Coggins (Margaret) and Harold (Dink) Coggins, grandchildren; Meredith Bame (Chris), Brian Murphy (Stephanie), Taylor Moore, Leah Hull (Eric) and Nick Moore; great-grandchildren, Austin Bame, Addison Bame, Alex Murphy, Sophia Murphy, Carson Everhart, and Chase Hull. Also surviving are step-grandchildren, Christopher Younts (Shandall), Roger Younts (Kendra), and Chippy Younts, Jr. (Taylor); step-great-grandchildren, Dallas, Paislie, Chippy Younts III; an aunt, Billie Harlin. Barbara also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Coley Rimmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Hill Memorial Park.
