Mary Mildred Garn Jackson, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and wonderful grandma, passed away Sunday, June 28, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born April 30, 1912 at Moody Creek, Madison County, Idaho, to Henry and Effie Garn. Member LDS Church. Married Alma Wayne Jackson, June 17, 1936 in Madison County; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
She was a longtime employee of Auerbach's Dept. Store. Mildred was devoted to her family, enjoyed taking care of her beautiful yard and garden, and knew how to work hard. She enjoyed keeping current on world events, and reminiscing about her amazing life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and love her.
Mildred is survived by: sister, Hazel Garn Kitch; many nieces, nephews and their families, neighbors and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, a sister and three brothers, and her husband, Wayne.
There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, July 1st, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, from 6 to 8 pm. A graveside service is scheduled at 11 AM on Thursday, July 2nd, at the Teton (Idaho) Cemetery.
