SALT LAKE CITY - Wayne Jackson, 72, formerly of Plano, died March 22, 1983 in Salt Lake City from an illness.
He was born July 8, 1910 in Plano to John Clark and Charlotte Housley Jackson. He education was in Rexburg. He worked for Hayes Buick in Salt Lake City for many years and he was employed at Hill Air Force Base at the time of his death.
On June 17, 1936 he married Mildred Garn in Sugar City. He was an active member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his wife, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Wilson and Mrs. Eva Walz, both of Idaho Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the Mountain View Third Ward in Salt Lake City at noon Friday. Burial will be in the Teton Cemetery at noon Saturday.
