Maybell Johnson was born August 6, 1911, in the Fall Creek Community of Hood County, and was a lifelong resident of Hood County. She worked at Maybelle Sportswear for a short time. She was a member of Acton United Methodist Church.
Survivors: Sons, Lonnie Johnson, Donnie Johnson, both of Granbury; daughters, Melba Monroe of Burleson, LaRue Styron of Benbrook; sister, Retha Massey Macy of San Carlos, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
