GRANBURY - Zebbie Johnson of Granbury, a retired farmer and lifelong Hood County resident, died Thursday at home. He was 88. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Acton United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in Fall Creek Cemetery, Hood County.
Mr. Johnson formerly was a road and street maintainer/ operator for Hood County and the city of Granbury.
Survivors: Wife, Maybell Johnson of Granbury; two daughters, Melba Monroe of Burleson and LaRue Styron of Benbrook; two sons, Lonnie Johnson and Donnie Johnson, both of Granbury; sister, Ima Gee of Granbury; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
