The funeral was conducted Tuesday afternoon by Rev. Dewey of the Christian church, and the remains laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gunn, of this city, attended the funeral, Mrs. Gunn being a sister of the little victim.
Both Mr. Sanders and his wife received serious burns in their efforts to extinguish the flames, those of the mother being possible the worst. Mr. Sanders has only one arm and was therefore handicapped in his fight with the flames, and his remaining hand is badly burned."
