Affectionately Known as Maddy Madeline was born in Browns Creek, Minnesota. Madeline worked in a hospital before moving to Bremerton, Washington. While in Bremerton, Madeline met Morris. They were married in 1959 and spent the next 55 years together. Madeline worked for the Naval Supply Center in San Diego. Morris was in the United States Marine corps for 27 years. He also worked for Bank of America for 15 years. After they both retired, they relocated to Silver Lakes, a golf resort where they enjoyed their favorite hobby. They spent the next 27 years in Silver Lakes. Madeline is survived by two sons: Tim and Dean Derflinger, and 10 grandchildren. Madeline was a loving wife, mother, and most of all a true friend. Services will be held on January 28th at 11:00AM at Desert View Mortuary, 11478 Amargosa Rd., Victorville, CA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to VNA California.
