A celebration of life memorial in honor of Janet Wilkins Killinger will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at the Ardmore Masonic Lodge.

Born Sept. 25, 1949, in Oklahoma City to the late Kenneth and Raymodeen McBurnett Wilkins. She died July 18, 2002, at her residence following a long battle with cancer.

Janet had lived in the Overbrook area since 1988, moving there from Midwest City, Okla. She was a member of Eastern Star No. 70 and the Advisory Board for Rainbow Girls. She had worked at Greenville School, Karry Out Korner south, and was with Sunshine Industries at the beginning of her illness.

She is survived by a daughter, Amanda Killinger; a sister, Helen Vickery; a brother David Wilkins; and a nephew, Thomas E. Vickery III.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Jean Wilkins, and her parents.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Amanda Killinger Education Fund, P.O. Box 53, Overbrook, OK 73453.
