The son of Kenneth Wilkins and Raymodeen (McBurnett) Wilkins, David was born on November 26, 1952 in El Paso, Texas and passed away on June 16, 2011 at the Mercy Memorial Health Center of Ardmore.
Mr. Wilkins was grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Midwest City High School in the class of 1971. David had been an Ardmore resident since 2001. He was a general contractor having a masters license in heating & air, refrigeration as well as in plumbing. David enjoyed spending time outdoors whether it was fishing, hunting or water skiing.
He is survived by his sister, Helen Vickery of the home; nephew, THomas E. Vickery, III.; niece, Amanda Killenger; three great nieces; best friends, John Howell, Bud Hoye and the class of 1971 friends and athlets. David was preceded in death by his parents; a baby sister, Carol Jean and sister, Janet Killenger.
