Abijah N. Chasteen, Sr., 72, died Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his residence following an illness. He was a Berea native born March 3, 1942, son of the late Robert and Ethel Cole Chasteen, U. S. Army Vietnam War veteran, and retired oil barge supervisor, and resident of Berea since 2005 (formerly of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi).
Survivors include his wife Reta Rose Chasteen.
Funeral Service 11:00 am Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Reppert Funeral Home. Bural will follow in the Chasteen - Cope Cemetery in Rockcastle County.
