BEULAH (ANDERSON) BURGESS

March 4, 1920 ~ June 15, 2012

Beulah was born in Minnewaukan, North Dakota on March 4, 1920 to John and Lizzie Anderson. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, June 15, 2012 in San Jose, California at the age of 92.

Beulah was married at the age of 15 to Eugene Burgess on November 17, 1935 and they had four children. They moved to Vancouver, Washington in 1944 and lived there until Eugene's death in 1995.

Beulah worked at the shipyards as a welder from 1944 until the end of World War II. She worked as a nurse for the VA hospital from 1966 to 1977 when she retired.

Beulah was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Gene, and by her oldest child, Peggy Gillenwater.

She leaves behind three children: Marvalou Linn (Norm), Gary Burgess (Sally), and Penny Brunell (Steve); 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.

There will be no funeral service.
