Robert W. Doyle

Services for Robert W. Doyle, 71, will be held Monday at 1:30 pm at Memorial Chapel with Dr. Frank O. Euler, Jr. of the Riverview Baptist Church officiating.

Mr. Doyle died Thursday at Natrona County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born Feb. 4, 1909 in Norfolk, Neb.

On April 6, 1928, he married Iris M. Howie in Sturgis, SD. The Doyle's moved to Casper in 1942 from Rapid City.

Mr. Doyle was an engineer for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 30 years, until he retired in February 1974. HE was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, of Casper; six daughters, Madeline Nansen, Glenrock, Donna Wirth, Casper, Doris Walthers, Evansville, Wanda McDaniel, Casper, DeMaris Middleton, Sundance, and Patricia Kelly, Casper; three sons, Robert James Doyle, Charles William Doyle and Michael L. Doyle, all of Casper.

Other survivors include two brothers, Loren Doyle, Troutsdale, Ore., and Dale Doyle, Vancouver, Wash., three sisters, Velma Tolrude, East Sound, Wash., Mary Roberts, Las Vegas, and Ruth Pouder, Woodland, Wash., 31 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, four brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Riverview Baptist Church School.

Burial will be Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call until noon Monday, after which time the casket will be closed.
