Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Doug Jolliff, Matt Shoemaker, Melvin Alspaw, David Alspaw, Josh Rader and Robert England. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Born April 16, 1950, in Tipton, she was the daughter of the late John Wilson McDaniel and Marie L. Williams McDaniel. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and had worked at the Saline County Rest Home. She was also a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors include her two sons, Howard Mitchell "Mitch" Alspaw of Louisiana and Vincent Lee Ballenger of Moberly; two daughters, Angela Lynn Shoemaker of rural Marshall and Sandra Leann Ballenger of Marshall; six sisters, Carol Neel of Slater, Evelyn England of rural Marshall, Margie Jolliff and Sandra Alspaw, both of Marshall, and Joyce McDaniel and Diane Kateman, both of rural Marshall; one brother, Wayne McDaniel of Jefferson City; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde, Carl and Howard McDaniel; and one sister, Dorothy McDaniel.
