Death came about two hours after Bouchee, a veteran of the First World War, had made arrangements with a Butte physician to be taken to the veteran’s administration hospital at Fort Harrison.
Bouchee was born Oct. 6, 1893, in Livingston and received education in the local schools.
He left there 30 years ago and since that time has been employed by mining interests in the Butte and Anaconda areas. He worked at the Anaconda smelter for a number of years and last was employed as a stationary engineer at the Mount Queen mine between Boulder and Whitehall.
During World War I, Bouchee served with a medical detachment with the American expeditionary forces in France. He was honorably discharged from service July 23, 1919.
He was one of 13 children.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia, in Washington State; a sister, Mrs. Rose Ebert of Livingston, and several nieces a nephews.
