Mr. Hoeppner died Wednesday at Williston, N.D. He was born May 28, 1905, to Theodore and Minnie Lohse Hoeppner at Traer, Iowa.
On October 11, 1928, he was married to Catherine Thee at Algona. Mr. Hoeppner, a retired farmer, moved with his parents to Everly at an early age and moved to Hartley after retirement in 1969.
Surviving are his widow, Catherine; a son Robert of Hartley; two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Betty) Steffens of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Don (Marian) Triplett of Wahoo, Nebr.; 17 grandchildren and a brother, Henry of Spirit Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers.
