Mrs. Anna Fae Thomas, 77, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at the Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri.

Anna entered this life on June 15, 1937, in Anderson, Missouri, one of ten children, born to the late E.J. and Anna (Ramsey) Cook. She was a lifelong area resident of Anderson, Missouri. On November 24, 1953, she was united in marriage to Charles Ross Thomas and to this union five children were born. She was a devoted homemaker throughout her life and also owned and operated a ceramic studio. She enjoyed her flowerbeds, gardening, fishing, reading and bird watching. She was a member of the Patterson Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty years, C. Ross Thomas on December 30, 2003; a grandson, Jarred Thomas; a great grandson, Steven Tyler Thomas; four sisters, Dorothy King, Mabel Cook, Delora Friend and Beulah Kelly; and four brothers, Clifford, Ora, Robert and Ernest Cook.

Anna is survived by her five children, Sandra “Sandy” Todd of Newton, Kansas, Steve Thomas and wife, Tami, of Anderson, Missouri, Rick Thomas and wife, Laurie, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Russell Thomas and wife, Diane, of Anderson, Missouri and Sarah Thomas also of Anderson; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Hess of Sequim, Washington; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015, at the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri with Pastor Bob Holloway officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Dean Todd, Steven Thomas, Justin Thomas, Braden Thomas, Toby Thomas, Perry Allison and Johnny Allison.
