Claude 'Buddy' Deskins, age 74 of Raccoon, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at his home. He was a welder and a member of the Light House Ministries Center in Elkhorn City. He was born in Praise, Kentucky on January 20, 1940. 'Buddy' is survived by his wife, Bethel Sue Belcher Deskins and one son, Claude Derek Deskins and is wife, Heather of Winter Haven, Florida and two daughters, Vickie Lynn Deskins of Upper Pompey and Sharon Kaye Lozon and her husband, Gregory of Ecorse, Michigan. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Lockhart, Avery Deskins, Cameron Scott, Sydney Deskins, Gregory Gene Lozon, Brittiny Replogle, Andrew Replogle, Erin Replogle, Nicholas Replogle and Brady Replogle and one great-grandchild, Christian Schneider. Vistiation will be in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel after 6 p.m. Wednesday with evening services at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Butch and Terry Thacker officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana, Kentucky.
