Jesup, Ga. - Jean Stively Janzen, 90 of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, January 12, 2015 after an extended illness and under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.

The Maryland native was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, the Puckett-McDonald Sunday School Class, the Susie Bowen Circle and was an active volunteer on the Monday Crew at the Good Samaritan Center and Foods for Friends. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, spending time with family and her church friends, skeet shooting, hunting and fishing. She was predeceased by her first husband, John E. Stively.

Survivors are a husband, James H. Janzen of Jesup, Ga.; a daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Ray Swank of Marysville, Wash.; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Debbie Stively of Screven, Ga.; 3 grandchildren, Patrick Sauter of Key West, Fla., Jeremy Stively of Jesup, Ga., Matt and Emilee Stively of Screven, Ga.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Epworth United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathy Israel-McLeod officiating. Interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M. prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Epworth United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1134, Jesup, GA 31598.
