Henry Wilson HUFF, son of William and Sarah (THROCKMORTON) HUFF, was born in Clark County, Ia., March 23, 1871. He died at his home in Bartlett. Nebraska February 29, 1932, aged 60. years, 11 months and 6 days.
On August 21, 1892, he was united in marriage with Sophia E. CASTOR of Hopeville, Ia. To this union were born thirteen children, three passing away in infancy. Those now living to mourn his loss are; a loving wife and companion, who did all that loving hands could do; the children, Mrs. Frank COLLINS, Elgin, Nebr.; Mrs. Edwin PLETCHER, Ericson, Nebr.; Mrs. Roy CAULDING, Bartlett, Nebr.; Floyd HUFF, Springfield, Nebr.; Teddie HUFF Oakdale, Nebr.; Wayne HUFF, Bartlett, and Andrew, Lulu, Thelma and Gladys at home.
One sister also survives him, Mrs. William SIEFKAS of Murray, Ia. Two brothers and one sister preceded him In death.
There are nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews. Besides these he leaves a host of friends and neighbors.
He came to Wheeler County in March, 1900, and homesteaded southeast of Bartlett. He has resided in this county since that time.
