Dr. T. F. Owen died at his home in Macon Tuesday night, Oct. 25th, in the 66th year of his age, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted at the family residence this (Friday) afternoon at one o'clock, by Rev. Geo. W. Buckner.
Dr. Owen was born in Carroll county, Kentucky. About the year 1857 he removed to Missouri locating for the practice of his profession at Linneus. Later he resided at Laclede and at about the close of the war he removed to Callao, where he resided until a few years ago when he moved to this city. Dr. Owen was widely known in Macon and Linn counties and was highly respected for integrity and worth.
