Mrs. King died Friday at her home. She was 95.
Born in Jamestown, N.Y., Mrs. King moved to Dallas in 1935 with her husband, Carl B. King. He was president of the Carl B. King Drilling co, which was sold in 1957. He died in 1967, and she became president of the foundation, which the couple created. The philanthropic organization has donated money for public television in the Dallas area and for the program Sesame Street.
Mrs. King is survived by three daughters, Jane Yeckel, Helen Phillips and Dorothy King, all of Dallas, seven grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
