Carl Bissett King, 77, of 4353 Woodfin, an independent oil operator, died here Tuesday.

Born in Neilltown, Pa., he started in oil operations in Tulsa, Okla, and had been a Dallas resident since 1935.

Survivors: Wife; three daughters, Miss Dorothy King and Mrs. B. F. Phillips Jr. of Dallas and Mrs Phil Yeckel of Ennis Mont; a son, James S. King of Corpus Christi, seven grandchildren and give great-grandchildren.
