J. Edward Kluttz, 94 years of age, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Edward was born May 1, 1920 in Rowan County to the late David Luther Kluttz and Bessie Lyerly Kluttz. He was also preceded in death by nine siblings

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Cold Springs United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at Cold Springs United Methodist Church in Concord officiated by Rev. Tony Bell . Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 74 years Irene Winecoff Kluttz; two sons Mike Kluttz and wife Margie of Concord and Richard Kluttz and wife Marie of Concord; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; one brother, Arnold Kluttz and wife Lucille of Woodleaf, NC.

Edward retired from Cannon Mills, Plant 1 weave room and he also enjoyed farming and raising cattle. He was a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Pallative Care of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Lane Kannapolis NC 28081.
