Mrs. Joyce Cox McKeldrey, age 72, passed away January 9, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 2PM in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville. Interment will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. McKeldrey was a native of Laurens County and spent 27 years in Robbinsville, NC before moving to Milledgeville in 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie V. and Grace Downs Cox; a husband, Clarence E. "Buddy" Johnson; son, Ronney E. Johnson; brothers, Edward Cox, David Cox and Paul Cox; and sister, Lynell Cox Allen. She was a member of the Hardwick Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Harold R. Johnson of Greenback, TN; grandsons, Jeremy, Chris, Kelvin and Travis Johnson; great grandson, Coby Johnson; great granddaughter, Khloe Johnson; sister-in-law, Madge Cox of Milledgeville; lifelong special friend, Celia Queen of Robbinsville, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
