Mrs. Grace Downs Cox, 84, died Friday, November 29, 2002 in a Milledgeville hospital. Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2003 in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Lance and Rev. Bill Casteel officiating. Interment is in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cox was a native of Emanuel County, she had made her home in Milledgeville for a number of years. She was the widow of the late Willie V. Cox. She was predeceased by children, Lynell Allen, Edward Cox and Paul Cox. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter Joyce McKeldry of Ribbinsville, N.C.; son David Cox of Milledgeville; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.
The family request in leiu of flowers, expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family will be at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m.
