LEONARD F. “FRITZ” and “CAP” CAPTAIN, age 82, of Miamisburg, OH, went home to be with Jesus, on Thursday, January 8, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Eaton, OH, on April 21, 1932, to the late, Oscar and Elsie (Davis) Captain. Fritz retired from Fraser Paper in 1995 after 35 years of service; and was a member of the Miamisburg Wesleyan Church; and the NRA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Roger Lee; and 5 brothers, Harold, Ralph, Edwin, Don and John. Fritz is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Loretta J. (Brandenburg) Captain; his children, Daniel Captain and Janel Ellenberger; 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Alyssa, Crysta, Allison, Kelsey and Jacob; his great-grandson, Bransyn; his sister, Betty (Herb) Cressell; his sister-in-law, Betty Captain.
The family will receive friends at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, where the Funeral Service with Pastor Jan Toft officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
