Mary Ellen Milton, 84, of Tiffin, went home to be with the Lord at 2:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 at St. Catherine’s Manor, Fostoria, Ohio. She was born Aug. 26, 1930 in Wyandot County to James and Daisy Phillips. She married Daniel A. Milton, Jul.13, 1960. He died Jul. 6, 1994. Survivors include three sons, John A.(Penny) and Daniel R. Milton both of Tiffin, and James S.(Christina) Milton of Greenville, Tex.; six grandchildren, John A. (Sarah) Milton, Brent A. Milton, Daniel Milton, Noah Milton, James A. Milton, and Nicole Milton; and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mary was a graduate of McCutchenville High School. She was a lifetime member of the McCutchenville Grange. She was a homemaker. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Monday, Jan.12, 2015 with the funeral service at 3 p.m. officiated by Rev. Richard Haner, all at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Burial will take place in Hueston Cemetery, Forest, Ohio at a later date.
