Frances, 64 years of age, passed away on January 8, 2015 surrounded by her family. Frances was born September 22, 1950 in Many, LA and resided in Natchitoches. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and sister-in-law. Frances was also dearly loved by her nieces and nephews. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren and protected them no matter the circumstances. Her family will always appreciate and admire her strength and determination.

Throughout her life, Frances kept busy working at many places, including Willamette Plywood Plant. She retired from Willamette, she then devoted herself to raising her girls. When the girls were older, Frances went back to work at the NSU Bookstore. Her love for children lead her to volunteer to care for her niece. Frances touched so many lives, both family and friends.

Frances loved to sit on her back porch and work with her flowers. She also enjoyed watching the birds, especially hummingbirds and doves, and the squirrels that played in the backyard. Her dogs, which stayed by her side, meant the world to her and will also miss her presence. Whether they were traveling to the casinos in Las Vegas or spending time at their camp on Toledo Bend, Frances and her husband enjoyed staying active. Fishing was also a favorite activity that both Frances and Ken shared.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years of Natchitoches, LA.; her two daughters and one son-in-law; three grandchildren; her father; sister and brother-in-law all of Natchitoches, LA; sister-in-law of Keithville, LA; brother-in-law of New Iberia, LA.; Nephews and nieces; and Special cousins include David of Natchitoches, LA; Linda and Juddy both from Robeline, LA.
