Mr. Falkner, who has held the position of night watchman at the cotton oil mill, died yesterday afternoon. He had a stroke of paralysis about ten days ago, but was able to be up, and seemed to be getting along all right until Monday. His death occurred at his home just across the street from the oil mill. The funeral services were conducted at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the cemetery.
