Edith enjoyed her time at State Farm, but family and church were her main loves. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. After retirement, she moved with her husband back to Lawrenceville. During their time there, they delivered meals to the elderly and volunteered at the Sign of the Kingdom. Edith and Jesse made almost yearly trips to Utah to visit their children and grandchildren and spent many happy times with family.
Edith’s survivors include children, Linda (Robert) Fiack, Steven (Lis) Simmons and Jeannette Simmons; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her sweetheart, Jesse; infant daughter, Connie Lou; her parents and several siblings.
