Savilla E. Braida, 73, of 355 W. 23rd St., San Bernardino, died Thursday, 21 Jan 1972 in Fontana, California. She was born in Ohio and was a 37-year resident of San Bernardino and a 45-year resident of California. Mrs. Braida was a member of the Seaport Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, San Francisco, and the Trainmen Ladies Lodge of Tucson, Ariz. Survivors include her husband, Leon; four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Kindstrom of Redondo Beach, Mrs. Marion Williams of Lakewood, Mrs. Louise Pyle of Riverside, and Mrs. Patricia Mathis of San Bernardino; two brothers, Fred Masterson of Needles, and Roy Masterson of San Bernardino; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Private interment was held yesterday at Mt. View Cemetery. Mark B. Shaw Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements. The family requests that remembrances be in the form of donations to the Heart Association.
