Ruth L. Huff, 90, of Biddeford died Saturday January 22, 2011 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. She was born on January 6, 1921 a daughter of Stanislaus and Pauline Lamarre Gendron. She was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from Biddeford High School in the class of 1938. She was predeceased by her first husband Lucien Fournier in 1961, her second husband, George Huff in 1992, and a son Adrien Fournier in 2009, 6 brothers & 5 sisters. Mrs. Huff worked 32 years at West Point Pepperell Mfg. Co. in Biddeford, 12 years at Hermans Shoe in Scarborough and 12 years at York Manor in Biddeford retiring in 1997 due to ill health. She enjoyed working with the elderly, playing cards and bingo. Surviving are: 2 daughters:Jeanne Thompson & husband Paul of Millbridge Priscille Herolt & husband Dennis of Queen Creek, AZ 1 sister:Paulette Lemay of Melbourne, FL 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildre, 11 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St, Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
