Services for Charles Raymond Baker, 77, 701 s. Poplar, who died at Ransom Memorial Hospital, will be a 2 p.m. Thursday at Robson-Towner Funeral Home with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona. Rev. William Weber will officiate.

Baker was born May 6, 1901 at Baldwin. He lived in the Michigan Valley area for 20 years, moving there from Paola. He moved to Ottawa in January of 1977, first living with his sister and later moving to the Sunflower Plaza in July 1978.

He married Cecil Lynn on Dec. 23, 1923, at Ottawa. She died Aug. 9, 1974. He was a member of the Valley Grange and the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Charles R Baker; four daughters, Mrs. Ray Culver, Overland Park; Mrs. Richard Allenson, Blackstone, Va; Mrs. Charles Stottlemire, DeSoto, and Mrs. Sharon Worl, Alexandria, Va; three sisters, Gertrude Sheffield, 306 S. Maple, Mabel McClelland, Lawrence, a brother Edgar Jay Baker, Ottawa RFD 1, 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will meet with friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 pm. Wednesday.
