MRS. ESTHER HUDSON died at her home in this city Tuesday morning at 7:30 o'clock, aged 8l years, her death being caused from an attack of pneumonia. Her remains were taken to Ridgeway yesterday and interred by the side of her first husband. Grandma HUDSON was a most estimable old lady and had many friends in this city. She raised MRS. GEO. ADAIR, JR. from a child and some time ago deeded her the property where she lived and when she was taken sick, MR. and MRS. ADAIR moved in and gave her every care and attention until her death.

ESTHER HUDSON was born in Fayette County, O., in l820, and died at her home in Leon, Iowa, March 26, l90l, aged 8l years. The deceased was the mother of twelve children, all of whom except four having preceded her to the life beyond.
The funeral services were held at the house on Wednesday morning at 9:30 by the Pastor of the Christian Church and the remains taken to Ridgeway, Mo. for burial.
