Dolores "Lola" Gutierrez, 89, went to be with our Lord on December 30, 2014 in Flagstaff. She was born on August 15, 1925 in Winslow. Lola had worked as a waitress at the Airport and then as a cooks helper at Winslow Memorial Hospital. She also worked several years as a Meter Maid for the Winslow Police Department. Lola was a member of the Madre de Dios Choir for many years. Her hobbies were going to the bingo, casino and watching her novelas and Wheel of Fortune. Lola's family especially her grandchildren, meant the world to her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Joe Gutierrez; daughter: Dolores Geer; grandsons: Daniel Lucero and Edward Geer; son-in-law: Ambrose Lucero; parents: Roman and Ophelia Sanchez Baca; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Lola is survived by her daughters: Jossie Lucero, Mary (Alex) Monsegur and Frances (Juan) Vega;grand- daughters: Corrine Lucero, Lorraine (Pilar) Gonzales, Eileen (Vance) Stago, Jessica Monsegur, Charlene Geer and Linda Baron; grandsons: Stanley Gutierrez, Joe Monsegur and Carl Geer; brother: Lorenzo (Carmen) Baca; sister: Theresa (Ron) Szewe; many cousins, nephews, nieces; 20 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Greer's Mortuary Chapel. Holy Rosary was recited on January 3, 2015 at Madre de Dios Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial that followed. Internment followed in Desert View Cemetery.
