Phyllis loved fishing, reading, gardening and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was also proud of her Lakota- Sioux heritage.
She was a member of the Rocky Point Club and volunteered to help with anything that needed to be done.
She is survived by:
FOUR SONS: Jeff Masterson and his wife Cindy of Sutter, Il; Greg Masterson and David Masterson both of Quincy, IL; and Steven Masterson and his wife Dawn of Georgia.
ONE DAUGHTER: Bobbie Iwanski and her husband Tim of Quincy
ONE STEP-SON: Mike Masterson of Oklahoma and
ONE STEP-DAUGHTER: Kim Renard of Florida
17 Grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren and a brother-in-law: Dale Masterson of Colorado Springs, CO survive.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
In addition to her husband, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Barbara Masterson.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Entombment in Quincy Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society.
