Joseph Woodmansee
20 March 1791 - 1870
Joseph Woodmansee, Sr. was born Mar. 20, 1791 in Charleston, R.I. He was the son of David and Amey Woodmansee. He married Hannah Mumford of Richmond, Washington Co., RI. In 1817 he moved to Lafayette, Onondaga Co., N.Y. and in 1822 to Tully where he settled on a farm which was then an "unbroken wilderness". He died in 1870. Hannah was born in 1793 and died in 1872.
Joseph and Hannah had 4 children:
1. Susan b. July 23, 1815 in R.I.
2. Joseph, Jr b. Nov. 28, 1819 Lafayette, N.Y. died 1899
3. Sarah b. 1821/1822
4. Jerry b. 1828 Tully d. Aug. 4, 1874
