Edna married Leo H. Barron in Slayton. Edna worked at the Stillwater Prison for the warden while also being a housewife, mother and grandmother.
After Leo's death, Edna lived in Jeffers.
Edna was a member of the Swedish Lutheran Church in Avoca.
She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Leo, Edna was preceded in death by a son, Richard Barron; two daughters, Karleen Hullerman and Dorothy Thobe; two brothers, Tiny Carlson and Eddie Carlson; and a sister, Gladys Sears.
Survivors include her three children: Leo B. Barron Jr. of Estherville, Iowa; Judy (John) Morgan of Jeffers; and Sharon Loudon of Hastings, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.
Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom.
