Mrs. Lucy Ann Barndt, 94, of Somerset RD 2, died May 29 at her home. Born September 9, 1873 in Somerset County, daughter of the late John and Maria (Stahl) Shaffer. Preceded in death by her husband, Nelson J. Barndt 11 years ago; one brother and one sister. Survived by the following children: Alvin, at home; Lottie, wife of Clarence Bailey, Hooversville; Margaret, wife of Earl Bailey, Portage RD 2; 17 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Funeral services Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Walter S. Hoffman Funeral Home with the Rev. David C. Alwin officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
