Margaret R. Bailey, 82, Richland Manor, formerly of Linden Avenue, Johnstown, died Feb. 7, 1995, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Johnstown. Born Sept. 29, 1912, in Somerset, daughter of Nelson and Lucy (Shaffer) Barndt. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Earl; three grandchildren, brothers and sisters. Survived by these children: James, married to the former Shirley Brant, Somerset; Thelma Bailey, Johnstown; William, Pottstown; Clyde, married to the former Kathy Unger, Hollsopple RD 2; Charles, Denver, Pa., and Edith, wife of Race Reed, and Melvin, both of Johnstown; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Member of Seanor Mennonite Church. Family receiving friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Ernest Heller officiating. Interment, Stahl Mennonite Cemetery.
