Obituary from Daily Press, 16 Mary 1961:

POQUOSON - Funeral services for Clarence J. Parker, 49, of 928 Poquoson Ave., Poquoson, who died at 10:15pm Tuesday, will be held at 2:30 pm today in Tabernacle Methodist Church, Poquoson. The Rev. Earl R. Collie, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. E. D. Garris, pastor of Highland Methodist Church, Petersburg. Burial will be in Parklawn Cemetery, Hampton.

Mr. Parker was a member of Tabernacle Methodist Church; Yorktown Council 66, Junior Order of United American Mechanics; and Masonic Lodge 49, AF & AM.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Parker; daughter, Miss Linda June Parker; son, living Parker; mother, Mrs. J. E. Parker of Hampton; two sisters, Mrs. Christine Mingee and Mrs. Emily Beale of Hampton; three brothers, M. E. Parker, H. N. Parker and James A. Parker, all of Hampton.

Pallbearers will be Bill C. Willborne, Robert Jordan, Marvin Forrest, John Booth, H. B. Bland, William Johnson, Robert E. Williams and Milford E. Cook.

The body will be placed in the church for one hour prior to the service.
